The Albury Wodonga Doll Bear & Hobby Show is an annual two day event usually held on the last weekend in November at the Mirambeena Community Centre in Lavington. This year the event will be held on the 2nd & 3rd December, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and 10pm to 3pm on Sunday.
The event features competitions, exhibitions and demonstrations from artists and crafters who specialize in making porcelain and other types of dolls, bears, dolls houses, embroidery, beading, quilting, paper-craft, knitting, crocheting and many other hobby activities.
Traders from local and interstate destinations trade in associated products which are not readily available locally.
As a not for profit organization, all funds raised are returned to our local community. This year we will be supporting Carevan.
Our aims and objectives are to ensure that the skills of artists, crafters and hobbiests continue to survive into the future not only by those currently engaged in these activities but by encouraging the younger generations to learn and pass on these skills.
